Get acquainted with Romania's treasures on this comprehensive, 7-night tour, which includes accommodation, transport, select meals and the services of a guide.ItineraryDay 1: Bucharest (D)Meet your guide at the airport or railway station in Bucharest and make your way to the hotel. After a short break start the trip with a city tour with the main touristic attractions: Press House, the Kisselef boulevard, the Arch of Triumph, Victory Square, the Cotroceni Palace, the Palace of Parliament, etc.Accommodation and dinner in Bucharest. Day 2: Bucharest - Pitesti - Curtea de Arges - Sibiu (B,D)After breakfast, depart for Sibiu passing through Pitesti, driving on the Olt Valley. After a break, we take the city tour of Sibiu to discover its medieval treasure. We admire the European Capital of Culture, as it was designed in 2007 with the Fortifications, the Large Square, The Small Square, The Council tower, the Evangelical Cathedral etc. Dinner in Sibiel, a traditional village.Overnight in Sibiu.Day 3: Sibiu - Medias - Biertan - Sighisoara (B,D)After breakfast we drive to Medias where we visit the citadel. We continue our trip in Biertan and visit the 15th century fortified church. The journey leads us to Sighisoara. We take the city tour by visiting the Citadel with sights like The Clock Tower, Dracula`s birth house, the Covered Staircase, the Church on the Hill.Accommodation and dinner in Sighisoara.Day 4: Sighisoara - Bistrita - Gura Humorului (B,D)In the morning we begin our gateway to Bucowina, passing through Bistrita. Later we arrive in Gura Humorului where we accommodate and visit the Monastery in Humor, founded by a noble family.Accommodation and dinner for 2 nights in HumorDay 5: Humor - Voronet - Moldovita - Sucevita (B,D)After breakfast we visit the UNESCO Monasteries in Bucovina. First we see Voronet. Next is Moldovita, where one of the nuns is going to tell us more about the life of the nuns at the monastery. Next we go to Sucevita and to the ceramics workshop from Marginea.Overnight and dinner at the pension in Humor.Day 6: Humor - Agapia - Bicaz Gorges - Prejmer - Bran (B,D)After breakfast we visit Agapia monastery. Next we take the road to Transylvania, driving through to the Bicaz Gorges, where we will enjoy a real spectacle of the nature. We admire also the beauty of the 'Red Lake.' On our way to Bran, we visit the fortified church in Prejmer.Accommodation and dinner in Bran.Day 7: Bran - Brasov - Sinaia - Bucharest (B,D)After breakfast we visit Dracula's Castle. Then we drive to Brasov and begin our city tour with the main touristic points: The Council Hall, the Black Church, the Weaver's Bastion, the Black and the White Tower. Later, we drive to Sinaia to visit the summer residence of the Romanian royal family. In the evening we arrive in Bucharest.Accommodation and dinner in Bucharest. Day 8: Bucharest (B)Following breakfast, you return to the airport or train station in Bucharest and say goodbye to the guide.
